World Book Day 2023

I’m still seeing girls reading and enjoying Tamsin Winter’s books on a daily basis so we thought we’d respond to their enthusiasm by having a lunchtime book sale, in the library, on World Book Day Thursday 2nd March (cash sales only).
Books by a variety of authors will be supplied by Red Lion Books from Colchester High Street and will include some special £1 World Book Day books aimed at teens which will be free to girls who exchange £1 World Book Day tokens – we’ll hand those out on the day. Other books are likely to cost between £7 and £8 – with the option to use the £1 token against the cost. (Unused tokens can be used in participating shops before 26th March.)
Past book sales have been wonderful events with everyone getting an opportunity to look at a wide selection of books with their friends, discuss them and pick up recommendations. I’m sure this one won’t disappoint!
