18 March 2022

During British Science Week the girls took part in a range of practical tasks. At the Lower School, Year 2 pupils dissected a kidney bean while Year 3 girls studied the different particles in soil and Year 4 pupils went bug hunting. Meanwhile, at the Senior School, Kimmy’s Zoo ran a fun, interactive session for Year 7 students with an array of exotic animals. Year 8 girls participated in a workshop with fingerprint expert, Mike Spore, while Year 9 students enjoyed various experiments with Liquid Nitrogen. There were also opportunities to make an Ames window, dissect a heart and make Liquid Nitrogen ice cream!
