Netball v St Margaret’s – Wednesday 2 March
Three teams of Year 5 & 6 played against St Margaret’s School. For many of the girls it was their first time representing the school. The girls played exceptionally well demonstrating determination and focus, with many chances to score. The opposition were strong, having since been crowned ISA U11 Champions, but St Mary’s never gave up. Final scores were A team 12-3 lost, B team 2-1 lost and C team 1-0 lost.

U9 Hockey v Gosfield School – Monday 7 March
An outstanding performance by all the team yesterday at Braintree Hockey Club. In a very close match, the tenacity and resilience of St Marys shone through. Both teams were evenly match and had many goal scoring opportunities, but St Mary’s came out on top winning by 3 goals to 2. Nancy, Katie-Jane and Marti were the goal scorers and Olivia was voted player of the match.
