Weekend of 22/23 January 2022 – Swim England Essex Age Group Championships

Jodie and Amelia A in Year 6 competed in the Essex County Swimming Championships at the weekend. It took place at the Olympic Pool at Stratford. Both girls competed in the heats of the 50m back and Jodie also competed in the 50m butterfly as well. Amelia came 21st in the county for backstroke and Jodie came 5th in backstroke and 6th in butterfly for the whole county! A fantastic achievement.

Wednesday 26 January 2022 – Netball v Alresford Primary School

The Year 5 and Year 6 netball team played their first league match of the season against Alresford on Wednesday 26 January. All the girls’ training over the last term truly paid off, with the team coming away with a 16-0 victory! Amelia was named Player of the Match by the opposition.

Well done to Amelia, Audrey, Jodie, Sophie, Ebun, Kitty and Jessica.
