An introduction to Philosophy

I wanted to share a recommendation of the book ‘Big Ideas for Curious Minds: An Introduction to Philosophy’ by The School of Life. This is a great book, suitable for girls in Years 7 and Year 8 which will get you thinking and talking about philosophical ideas. It will encourage the students to have creative and inquisitive minds and whilst it explores big issues, it is very simple to follow. The beautiful illustrations add to the experience of entertaining, educating, consoling and transforming the reader, harnessing children’s spontaneous philosophical instinct.
