Year 7 Scholars recognised in presentation ceremony

Year 7 Scholars were presented with their badges on Friday 11 September by Principal, Mrs Vipond.
St Mary’s is committed to encouraging, developing and celebrating excellence and Scholarships can be awarded to girls joining the school in Year 7 who show significant academic potential or who can demonstrate an aptitude for sport, drama, art or music.
Miss Comrie scholarships are held in very high regard and are awarded to girls who are expected to make a substantial contribution to the life of the school.
“Scholars are recognised throughout their time at St Mary’s and are offered opportunities to develop their talents within school and beyond,” said Mrs Vipond. “They make a valued contribution to the rich and vibrant life of the school.”
The deadline for St Mary’s Scholarships applications for those wishing to start in Year 7 in September 2021 is 9 October 2020. All Scholarships are awarded solely on merit and in open competition, and there is no set limit to the number of Scholarships that may be offered in one year of entry. St Mary’s scholarships attract a fee remission, at the discretion of the Principal.
