Lower School Match Report: Netball verses Gosfield School

On Wednesday 11th March St Mary’s played against Gosfield School. It was a close match which we eventually won. Two teams participated and both did excellently. Team A consisted of: Lilian (team captain), Sienna, Tomisin, Poppy, Eva, Natalie and Elizabeth B. Team B consisted of: Amelia (team captain), Lily, Zoe, Imogen, Rebecca, Cary’s and Elizabeth S.
In the first two quarters both teams didn’t play their best. However, in the last two quarters we played fantastically well, working extremely well as a team together. The final score for the A team was 10-2. The B team score was 8-1. The A team’s player of the match was Eva and the B team’s player of the match was Elizabeth S. It was very awkward at the end of the match as instead of shaking their hands we had to elbow them because of Covid-19 (Coronavirus). Well done to all who participated in the match.
