Insight in to Art and Photography degrees

Year 10 GCSE Art and Photography students were invited by the 2nd year Fine Art degree students who are studying at University Centre Colchester to attend an Open Studio Day within the School of Art on Thursday 23 January. The girls viewed an exhibition of textiles work in the Hay Gallery, were taken on a guided tour of the studios and facilities and enjoyed two practical workshops in drawing and ceramics. All the activities were student-led and gave the girls a great insight in to the Art degree experience.
