On Tuesday 26 November, Year 5 pupils visited Japan House where they had the opportunity to see a variety of hand made products from Japan, explore various maps and see a digital exhibition with the title City Lights and Woodland Shade.
The girls then attended Club Taishikan in the Embassy of Japan where they were introduced to the ancient Japanese art of calligraphy and took part in the very important Tea Ceremony. The girls thoroughly enjoyed this visit which further developed their knowledge of Japanese geography and culture.
