Year 6 Hockey Match Against St Margaret’s

Sport report written by Eva and Sienna (Year 6):

On Wednesday 20 November, we a played hockey match against St Margaret’s. Nothing could have prepared us (or our enthusiastic supporters) for the biting cold that we faced at Braintree Hockey Club! Our Year 6 team put up a  strong fight against the more experienced, opposing team. The final score was 5:1 to them, with Eva scoring the only goal for St Mary’s. As it was only our second Hockey match we were still happy with the score and it was a great experience.

The Year 6 players were: Poppy, Eva, Lily, Sienna, Lizzie, Evie and Tomisin. St Margaret’s awarded Sienna ‘Player of the Match’.
