Wednesday 13 November:
Year 7 Netball – First Round of Central Venue Tournament

The Year 7 netball team played in the re-arranged first round of the Central Venue Netball Tournament on Wednesday evening. There were very cold conditions, but buckets of enthusiasm and great team spirit all round.

The girls played against the following schools:

v Thomas Lord Audley School they won 5-1
v Stanway School they lost 2-5
v Colchester County High School for Girls A team they lost 14-1
v St Benedict’s College they lost 2-4

Some incredibly versatile play form came from Imogen and Evie, with some lovely goals converted by Sofia. Everyone played well against some tough, and VERY tall opposition!
