Fundraising efforts for the Catherine Bullen Foundation

Funds raised as part of ongoing charity initiatives at the Senior School last year for the Catherine Bullen Foundation have been extremely well received by the Good Hope Primary School at Okovimburu in Namibia. Roger and Linda Bullen presented the school with large cooking pots at their annual Prize Giving ceremony. This new equipment will enable the school to feed pupils in one sitting. We have decided to continue supporting the amazing work this Mersea based charity lead in memory of their daughter Catherine, a fifth-year medical student who tragically died at the age of 22 from gastro enteritis whilst on a safari in Namibia. So far, a fantastic £3,866 has been raised – thank you to our students, parents and staff for their continued support for this very worthy cause.
