World Book Day 2019

World Book Day is almost upon us and St Mary’s intends to celebrate and emphasise the importance and power of reading in every class throughout the day. On Friday, the Senior School will be holding a quiz (based on the first lines of well read books) and between now and next week each form will be discussing and recommending their favourite books to the rest of their year group. I will be collating those results and hope to find some recommendations for good books not already in the library.

It should be a simple but effective celebration!
