Year 7 Basketball v Philip Morant School 

On Wednesday 28 November, a very excited Year 7 team played in their first basketball game of the season against Philip Morant. It took the team a while to settle, as they were not used to playing indoors on a much larger than usual court. They soon fell behind 8-0 by then end of the first quarter, in the second quarter they fared better and the score was 12 – 2. St Mary’s continued to improve and gained in confidence with some good team work and various attempts on the basket. Final score 16-8. Well done to all who played.
