Sports report week commencing 15 October 2018

Thursday 18 October saw the Year 8s play Stanway School in a very even, yet frantic game of netball. In the first quarter, we took a narrow 2-1 lead and then after a pep talk about the speed of play and accuracy of passing, the team soon took a 5-1 lead. Unfortunately this was not to last, and in the latter part of the second quarter Stanway scored three quick goals. For the remainder of the game, both teams were evenly matched with moments of really good play, interspersed with play that was a bit too quick, resulting in losing the ball to our opponents  Final score 9 – 9. Well done to all who played and for maintaining their positive attitude throughout the game.
