3 July 2018
The annual Summer Cabaret on 3 July was a lively night of entertainment, provided by around 25 girls in Years 9 and 10. Showcasing their musical talents, they were encouraged and supported by an appreciative audience who had forsaken the World Cup England match to be part of this enjoyable evening!
The Staff Band set the mood and was followed by a variety of performances from Year 9 and 10. During the interval Mr Bainton and Miss Jones drew the raffle for this year’s school charity, Lepra. There was fierce competition for the top prizes of an afternoon tea for two voucher at the Tiptree Jam Tearoom and a beautifully decorated handmade cake from Cakes and Makes!
This also provided a lovely send off for St Mary’s music teacher, Mrs Gerrard who will be leaving the school at the end of this term.
