World Book Day 2018

World Book day is fast approaching and Mrs Mitchell and I are repeating the (now annual) book sale on Thursday 1 March, in conjunction with Red Lion Books in Colchester. There will be five special World Book Day books for teens costing £2.50 or £1.50 if students use their £1.00 World Book Day voucher. We will be handing out the vouchers from Tuesday next week.

The special books are ‘The Novice’ by Michael Grant, ‘Fly by Night’ by Francis Hardinge, ‘I Have No Secrets’ by Penny Joelson, ‘An Abundance of Katherines’ by John Green and ‘Gangsta Rap’ by Benjamin Zephaniah. Girls may prefer to use their £1.00 book token to discount a full-priced book instead, which range from £6.00 to £8.00 each.
