This week Year 9 students were inspired by a visit from Royal Geographical Society Ambassador Emma Cooke, a second year BSc Geography student from the University of Nottingham. She spent the day running a series of workshops designed to encourage the next generation of geographers, covering the diversity of the subject and the range of careers available. Isla commented “I found out so many new things about geography – I really enjoyed her visit!”
