Sports Afternoon – Kindergarten and Infants

Determination was evident on the faces of all the girls and boys who competed at our Kindergarten and Infant Sports Afternoon on 8 June!

Children in Kindergarten, the Preparatory Class and Years 1 and 2 began the afternoon by parading onto the sports fields under the flags of the countries each house represented, to the sounds of the Samba Band. They then took part in a carousel of skills-based activities – hurdles, bat and ball, long jump, shuttle run, beanbag throw, football goals and many more – before lining up for races on the track.

Very well done to all the children who took part and to the Year 6 pupils who supported and encouraged them.
