Polling Day at St Mary’s!

A Mock Election arranged by the School Council at the Senior School on Polling Day, 8 June, gave an chance to compare our students’ choices to those of Colchester and the United Kingdom.

There was a fantastic 68% turnout and some superb political discussions as the girls wrestled with the issues facing voters. 

If each year group at St Mary’s had represented a constituency, we would have returned three Conservative Members of Parliament and one Labour.
