World Book Day competitions and booksale

St Mary’s will celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 2 March with competitions and a book sale which will be held at lunchtime.

Red Lion Books in Colchester will be supplying the books which will include the special World Book Day £1 books for teens – “Island” by David Almond and ”Dead of Night” by Michael Grant. £1 books by Jacqueline Wilson and David Walliams may also be available but they are aimed at younger readers. Other books are likely to cost between £6 and £8.
