Online lessons at St Mary’s will be a little different with Challenge Week offering the chance for the students to test themselves beyond the normal curriculum. This is especially important in the current circumstances as the annual Activities Week adventures are unable to go ahead at this time of lockdown.
Each year group have been given a list of specific challenges from which the students can choose those they are most interested in and earns points for submitting evidence for completing each activity. The evidence maybe in the form of a photograph or series of photographs, a written explanation, or even a short video.
There will be lots of House Points on offer, plus certificates and even prizes for the most points gained, and for those challenges in each year group judged to be of the best quality. More importantly it is an opportunity for the girls to have fun, try something new, and get involved.
The activities have been designed to cover many aspects of the Round Square Ideals (internationalism, democracy, environment, adventure, leadership and service) along with creative, wellbeing and physical challenges. There is a wide variety of activities on offer, so there is something for everyone!
