38% of results were level 9-7 or equivalent (comparable to grades A*-A), compared to the national average of 22%. Half or more of the results were graded at 9-7 or equivalent in eight subjects including Physics, Art and Design and Religious Studies.
Mrs Nicola Griffiths, Principal said “We are very proud of the girls’ accomplishments in their GCSEs this year, as well as everything they do beyond the curriculum. We believe that girls are remarkable and these results demonstrate the girls’ talents at St Mary’s in a wide variety of subjects.”
The all-girls school in Colchester offers a complete education in order to develop exceptionally well-rounded individuals, empowered to rise to the challenges and opportunities the world presents. With small class sizes and high standards, the focus at St Mary’s is on individual success.
