Sports Leaders motivate primary school pupils

On Tuesday 10 December, the Year 9 Sports Leaders spent the day at the University of Essex assisting Year 5 and 6 children from local primary schools to compete in an indoor athletics competition. This included field events such as speed bounce and ball throw, in addition to running events including relay and an obstacle course.

The girls were highly organised and enthusiastic in their roles, keeping the pupils well motivated and making sure the event was running on time.
