6 June 2018
Determination was evident on the faces of all the girls and boys who competed at our Kindergarten and Infant Sports Afternoon on 6 June!
Children in Kindergarten, the Preparatory Class and Years 1 and 2 began the afternoon by parading onto the sports fields under the flags of the countries each house represented, to the sounds of the Samba Band. They then took part in a carousel of skills-based activities – hurdles, bat and ball, long jump, shuttle run, beanbag throw, football goals and many more – before lining up for races on the track. The children gave it their all in traditional egg and spoon, hula hoop and sprinting contests with fancy dress themed races to finish off the event!
Very well done to all the children who took part and to the Year 6 pupils and Year 10 Sports Leaders who supported and encouraged them.
