Cross-country competition raises funds for Lepra

The rain held off as every Senior girl tackled the challenging one-mile Hilly Fields course at our annual Cross-country Competition on 20 October.

Students competed in their year groups, with Year 10 and 11 girls continuing the St Mary’s tradition of wearing fancy dress for their run, which made the course a little trickier in some cases!

Mrs Vipond was pleased to announce the following winners:

Year 7: 1^st Zoe, 2^nd Elle, 3^rd Charlotte

Year 8: 1^st Amelia, 2^nd Nicole, 3^rd Alannah

Year 9: 1^st Ciara, 2^nd Mia, 3^rd Jessica

Year 10 and 11: 1^st Ella, 2^nd Molly, 3^rd Amelia

Thanks to St Mary’s families and friends for their sponsorship – the proceeds will be donated to the students’ chosen charity this year, Lepra.
