Congratulations to Charlotte in Year 9 who came fourth on her pony Idyllic Spartacus at the prestigious world-known Horse of the Year Show at the Birmingham NEC last week.  This event is the climax to the domestic show jumping year. Charlotte qualified at the Royal Three Counties Show in June for the NPS/Baileys Open A class at the Show. There were only 22 qualifiers for this particular class, and Charlotte was by far the youngest.  They were judged on their performance and the conformation of the pony – Charlotte and Idyllic Spartacus did a foot-perfect performance in front of the judges and hundreds of spectators. Charlotte, who started riding when she was 3 said  “I was so excited, I couldn’t believe I beat the other riders who were much older than me! It was particularly special as my family bred my pony”.

UPDATE Charlotte and her pony qualified for The London International Horse Show at Olympia taking place 12 – 18 December.  What a fantastic achievement!
