Crucible production inspires GCSE students

20 June 2017

A group of Year 10 Drama students took the opportunity to watch the touring production of Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’ at The Mercury Theatre, which is a set text for their GCSE.

This gripping and poignant play, based on real-life events in New England in the 17th Century was presented by the Selladoor Theatre Company and updated using modern dress and projected stage directions. The production really brought the characters to life and much discussion was had about some of the decisions the director had made!
