12 May 2017
Our Year 11 girls said an emotional farewell to St Mary’s on 12 May.
There were some very thoughtful performances in their final assembly. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Laura and Verity gave a moving performance of ‘For Good’ from Wicked. Lucy, Verity, Beth, Tilly and Alice shared happy and funny memories of their time at St Mary’s.
Head Girls, Hannah and Harriet, acted as our very own Ant and Dec by presenting the show, and they also shared memories with photos and videos.
The girls then enjoyed a fun outdoor adventure session at Mersea Youth Camp, reliving one of their first days together when they joined St Mary’s in Year 7!
To round off the day Year 11 had their own celebratory lunch in the hall, along with teachers, and received a copy of their Leavers’ Book.
Good luck to all of the girls in their GCSE exams!
