Our spectacular Fashion Show!

An outstanding showcase of design flair and technical ability – not to mention poise and confidence – our Fashion Show on 28 and 29 March was a spectacular occasion.

Audiences of family, friends, former and prospective pupils were enormously impressed as Year 8 girls modelled pyjama bottoms they had made using a commercial pattern and Year 9 students showed off their festival wear.

GCSE Textiles students answered design briefs that required them to create childrenswear, theatre costumes, punk and goth outfits, or a special occasion garment inspired by another culture. All of the outfits were designed and made by the wearer, using fabrics and trimmings they had chosen themselves.
