Inspection
Independent Schools Inspectorate Report: January 25th and 26th, 2011.
We take the inspection process very seriously and value independent feedback into the day-to-day running of the school.
In the latest report by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), it was observed that “Throughout the school, pupils’ personal development is excellent. Girls are self-confident and self-aware, increasingly reflective and tolerant, and have a positive outlook on life. They show loyalty to and pride in their school".
The Inspectorate noted that: “All pupils have a strong sense of belonging to a friendly, small and family like school” and that... “St. Mary’s pastoral care is excellent ...pupils commented on how teachers provide both care and support for them”.
With regard to the educational provision for the girls, the Inspectorate found that “St. Mary’s School provides a broad and balanced curriculum, which supports girls’ developments and turns them into self-confident and articulate young people as well as teaching them knowledge and skill,” while “Provision within the early Years Foundation Stage is outstanding”.
