‘The Woman in Black’ – terrifically terrifying!

Carefully crafted stage management, direction and expertise of the actors in ‘The Woman in Black’, at the Fortune Theatre in Covent Garden, ensured that suspense was developed gradually for Year 9 as the Gothic plot of the play unfolded – creating tension and terror in the audience and plenty of screaming and covered eyes at key moments!  The performance on 7 February was followed by a Question and Answer session with the actors and production manager which gave a useful insight into the preparation and thinking behind this highly successful, long-running show. Thank you to Year 9 and accompanying staff for really getting into the ‘spirit’ of things!
