Year 8 Netball teams v St Benedict’s College (home) 

The evening of Tuesday 18 September saw the first netball games of the season against St Benedict’s College. Our two teams of Year 8s had mixed results with both teams making a good start, albeit being a little fast in their play. Although one team were up against a very tall opposition, both worked hard in attack and defence positions against some aggressive play from St Benedict’s. It was really great to see such a positive attitude and fantastic team support from all the students, with the captains Louisa and Grace doing a brilliant job! Grace’s team won 18-2! Unfortunately Louisa’s team lost 6-19, although the score was not a true reflection of the percentage of possession for her team.
