Religious Studies

Religious Studies encourages students to become aware of the world around them and to consider ethical issues that affect us all.

Years 7, 8 and 9

In Year 7, the modules are Beginnings: Myths and Founders, Holy Books and Churches.

In Year 8, the students learn about Islam, Festivals and Rites of Passage.

In Year 9, the modules are Hinduism, Martin Luther-King, The Problem of Suffering and Judaism.



Religious Studies is a popular GCSE option - Edexcel B.
