Rainbow Fish fun!

With literacy in mind at Kindergarten this week, The Rainbow Fish has proved to be a very popular story book. It is a fabulous story about being yourself and being an individual which has prompted a lot of discussion between the children and the Kindergarten Practitioners.

The older children have continued to practise letter formation and have been using the sounds they have learnt to write two-letter words, for example, it, is, at, as etc. Listening to, and being able to identify, the different sounds needs lots of encouragement and support, so continued practice in this area is really important.
